The Charles Objet is a white sculpture with a modernist feel. The black stone base on which it is mounted is a contrasting element that brings the work of art a contemporary feel. Made of cast aluminum, the sculpture has a Gesso White finish that is surprisingly textural. The intentionally rough surface is created by using a stippled mold into which the molten metal was poured.
